in the summer, our house was so unbearably hot that kaitlyn and i slept in the living room to be cool. now it’s winter, and i’m sleeping in the living room to stay warm. my house is freezing, and to venture upstairs to my room takes mental preparation. having no control over our own temperature sucks. i work five shifts this week, including new years. most will be closing shifts....
